Baby vs. Monkey

I have the cutest nephew in the world! I'm not saying that just because I'm biased, he really is so cute and people tell me all the time. Friday I was watching him for a bit and ladies just kept coming up him and saying how cute he is. Yes, he is uber cute and such a flirt, the kid will smile at anyone. But, I think it's partly due to his large stature. At 5 months, he's wearing 9 month clothing and is pretty impressive. But that's how we do it in this family. Big, healthy babies. I was 10 lbs 2 ounces and pretty dang cute (if I say so myself).
The other day I was conversing with my roommate and the topic of babies came up. She noted that sometimes babies look like monkeys and that it was hard to tell them apart so young. I thought back to when my nephew was born and disagreed. But then we compared other baby pictures to monkey pictures and I have to admit it's true. Sometimes babies look like monkeys.

It's hard to tell, I know, but somehow people do it. Good thing my nephew looked like this at all.
